Merry Christmas dear Daddies and Moms,
Whoever is the boss in the home this week, I presume you are Catholic, gather your family after dinner, or before you go to bed, and say something like the prayer that we put in the bulletin two week ago. Read only half of it. And then tell them, “Everyone get your Bible!” And when they are together begin by asking them to read:
- John 1: 1-3, 18 And this is what you will tell them, “‘In the beginning’ means before all creation-before nothing, nothing, nothing, God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit were having fun in heaven and they said, ‘We are going to create a big family and a big world.’” This is the ‘beginning.’ I wish we had the blue prints in some library for the whole creation.
- “In the beginning was the Word.” The 2nd Person of the Trinity has many names: Son of God, Jesus, Creator, Redeemer, etc. and… Word. You tell them Jesus is the Word because He came to tell us a lot, lot, lot of things that nobody knew before: that God is the Alpha and Omega, that God is the only Creator, Controller and Keeper of everything that has existence. Of course, He owns men, too. Jesus told us that His Father is real and mucho, mucho powerful. Jesus told us that He is the Son of God and that God has three persons, the Father and Son and that Jesus is the Word and the Son, of course. Later on Jesus will tell us about the Holy Spirit. So in the beginning was the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Then tell people, “Jesus continues telling us that God is very powerful and that His love for men is greater than His power.”
Do you know that all men were made to be happy for 2,342,893,095,997 trillions of years and more in heaven?
“No one has ever seen God. The only Son, God, who is at the Father's side, has revealed him.” John 1:18
- Jesus wants people to come to know Him and that the Father sends Jesus and that He comes from His presence.
Read Luke 2 and say to the family, “Baby Jesus is one of us. He is our Brother. And He came to pay for our stupid sins and for the times we insult God—you tell your family that! Then say that He tell us as He died on the cross and from the manger that God has a big, great love for us and a big, great mansion in heaven for us to go and TAKE IT! Since you are Catholic, you make the church,” tell your family, “with God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.” And you tell the people, “On Christmas Day when the angels come, God says Mass. God celebrates for us, the birth of Jesus. You tell the children, “God the Father makes a party for us with Jesus and the Holy Spirit.” Before you come to Mass on Christmas say, “We go to have a party of Jesus’ birth with the God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. And of course, Mary and Joseph are there, too.” Tell the children, “When Father Diez puts all things of the Mass, together Jesus Himself comes to celebrate His birth in person for you with His Father and the Holy Spirit.
Discuss with your family: “How are we going to prepare for God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, to make them present for us and proud of us on Christmas. Invite someone to come, or join in with the family getting ready for His party Thursday night and Friday preparing the Church
